Dytran Instruments, Inc. is pleased to announce that Prognyan Ghosh has been named General Manager. He brings over 20 years of experience as a leader at various companies in multiple industries. His prior roles include engineering manager, director of operations, PMO director, and chief engineer. Prognyan also brings his broad industry experience in product and business management.
Throughout his career, Prognyan has successfully managed cross-functional teams of engineers, sales personnel, enterprise P&L’s, customer communications, and a host of other wide-ranging disciplines with diligence and professionalism. Most recently, Prognyan served as Engineering Manager at Dytran. He supervised multiple teams focused on the research and development of new products. He formulated and executed engineering strategies and collaborated with other managers to achieve key business objectives, including development and launches of extreme-environment products, integrated solutions for evolving markets and establishment of new manufacturing capabilities at Dytran.
In his new role, Prognyan will utilize his solid business acumen, technical expertise, and strong project and people management skills to spearhead Dytran’s growth strategy. He will develop and implement critical strategies to secure a competitive edge in business processes/systems, efficient workflows, strategic partnerships, supplier relationships, and quality/compliance. Prognyan will oversee all business operations and will generate innovative solutions for new and existing products/processes that support our goal of differentiating ourselves from the competition by offering unparalleled, world-class sensing solutions.
