Spectris Acquires Dytran Instruments, Inc.




Spectris and Dytran, both technological leaders in the field of dynamic measurement, are delighted to announce the signing of a Share Purchase Agreement wherein Spectris agrees to acquire 100% of shares in Dytran Instruments, Inc. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of the year.

Dytran will be integrated into HBK which has a long-established brand in accelerometers. The acquisition allows both companies to leverage complementary capabilities and provide enhanced customer offerings and solutions to enable accelerated product development.
