The Dytran model 3236A is a ring style piezoelectric IEPE accelerometer, designed to offer reliable performance in temperatures up to +300°F (+149°C).

Incorporating a quartz crystal operating in shear mode, the Dytran model 3236A is offered with a sensitivity of 10 mV/g and an upper frequency response of 10,000 Hz. Elements are housed in a stainless steel package weighing 28.1 grams and feature a radial 3-pin "Mighty Mouse™" connector, and a miniature thru hole design, allowing the sensor to be turned 360° prior to securing for ease of sensor installation. Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments, as well as case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.
