The Dytran model 3225E is an ultra miniature teardrop low profile charge mode accelerometer with negative polarity and a sensitivity of 1.8 pC/g designed to mount in spaces inaccessible to other types of accelerometers. The sensor features a height of 0.15 inches (3.8 millimeters) and an overall weight of just 0.6 grams.

The sensors are designed to reliably operate in high temperatures up to +350°F (+177°C) and feature a ceramic shear sensing element in a lightweight laser welded titanium housing, with a three-foot integral cable terminating to a 10-32 jack.

The model 3225E is a member of the Dytran 3225E series of charge mode accelerometers. All units within the series have a sensitivity of 1.8 pC/g and adhesive mounting capabilities. They differ only in terms of their type of connector, environmental seal and electrical isolation.
