The Dytran model 3224C is an ultra miniature, low profile piezoelectric charge mode accelerometer with a sensitivity of 0.6 pC/g designed to adhesively mount in spaces inaccessible to other types of accelerometers. The sensor features an overall height of just 0.10 inches (2.6 millimeters) and an overall weight of just 0.2 grams.

Designed to reliably operate in high temperatures up to +350°F (+177°C), the Dytran model 3224C incorporates a ceramic shear sensing element packaged in a lightweight laser welded titanium housing, with a three foot integral cable terminating to a 10-32 jack. The cable is designed to mate with several Dytran extension cables.

Due to its small size and lightweight, the model 3224C is ideal for the measurement of shock and vibration of very small objects such as printed circuit boards ad board-mounted components.
