OVERVIEW

The Dytran model 3224B is an ultra miniature teardrop IEPE accelerometer with integral electronics, designed to adhesively mount in spaces inaccessible to other types of accelerometers, with an overall weight of just 0.3 grams. Model 3224B is capable of reliable operation in temperatures up to +300°F (+149°C).

Available with a 10 mV/g sensitivity, the model 3224AB features a ceramic shear sensing element in a lightweight laser welded titanium housing, with a 3-foot (0.9-meter) integral cable terminating to a 10-32 jack. The cable is designed to mate with several Dytran extension cables. Units are case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.
