The Dytran model 3211B1-XX is a low profile IEPE accelerometer with a 10 mV/g sensitivity, weighing just 10 grams. The sensor features a factory molded urethane boot and multiple integral urethane cable lengths available, for reliable operation in water depths to 175 psi.

Sensor design incorporates a ceramic shear sensing element for high natural frequency and integral low noise JFET electronics, encased within a rugged, lightweight titanium housing. The sensor is base isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference and mounts via #8 or M4 mounting screws.

Units are hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments. A miniature thru hole design allows the sensor to be turned 360° prior to securing for ease of sensor installation.
