The Dytran model 3143DT is a miniature IEPE triaxial accelerometer with a vertical dimension of 0.38 inches (9.5 millimeters), an overall weight of 15 grams, and incorporates Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (TEDS; per IEEE 1451.4) capabilities. Available with a sensitivity of 10 mV/g, the Dytran model 3143DT features three ceramic shear mode sensing elements packaged in a lightweight titanium housing.

Units utilize an industry standard radial 4-pin connector and thru hole 6-32 mounting screw. This ring style configuration allows the sensor to be turned 360° prior to securing for ease of installation. The Dytran model 3143DT is hermetically sealed for reliable operation in high humidity and dirty environments, as well as case isolated to avoid EMI/ground loop interference.
