OVERVIEW

The Dytran model 1061V5 is an IEPE force sensor designed to measure dynamic forces of 25,000 lbf over a wide frequency range. Offered with a sensitivity of 0.2 mV/lbf, this dynamic force sensor can measure up to 1,000 lbs full scale in tension mode. As an IEPE sensor, the model 1061V5 features built-in electronics, eliminating the need for an external charge amplifier and converter.

Design of the model 1061V5 features a quartz sensing element, operating in compression mode and packaged in a rugged stainless steel housing weighing 452 grams. Units utilize a 10-32 radial connector and 3/8-16 tapped holes at both the top and bottom of the sensor housing for ease of mounting.
