Marcel King Named Quality Manager for Dytran Instruments, Inc

September 06, 2017 – Chatsworth, California, USA – Dytran Instruments, Inc. (www.dytran.com) a leading manufacturer of piezoelectric and DC MEMS accelerometers, dynamic force and pressure sensors, cables, and associated electronics, is pleased to announce that Marcel King has been named quality manager.


Marcel is a resourceful team leader with a comprehensive quality management background for over 20 years within the aerospace, automotive, and industrial industries. Most recently, Marcel served as Quality Assurance Manager for Senior Aerospace SSP where he drove continual improvements in
 quality and efficiency while implementing a system upgrade to meet the new AS9100 Revision D requirement. His experience also includes serving as Quality Manager/Chief Inspector at ITT Aerospace Controls for both the production and aftermarket business units where he developed and implemented a quality system compliant to FAA and EASA requirements. Marcel’s credentials include an FAA A&P license, FAA Inspection Authorization (IA), certification as an FAA DMIR, a Bachelor’s degree from Embry Riddle, and he is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership. 

 

Marcel believes in aggressive continual improvement efforts, leveraging employee cross functional utilization, and working closely with all stakeholders to drive process efficiencies that yield increased quality, profitability, and sustained growth. He believes in fostering strong relationships, bridging communication gaps and developing robust succession planning that aligns with future organizational needs.
